I’m not disagreeing that you can be bad and still do a job. Your resurrecting Bruce to prove that is not proof as he never did do a job. He didn’t meet his stated aims never mind mine. His was tenth or higher and he failed his own aims and then moved the goalposts when he knew he had failed. The man was and is a charlatan.

If only it was all genuine. I accepted he changed his aim part way through a season to 17th because he was failing and clearly wasn’t going to achieve his “real” aim of 10th or higher. So if you’re prepared to accept his lies as to what his aim was then you’re right but you’ll be lonely in that belief. For me his “genuine” aim was 10th or higher and he failed to match his expectations and aims. So Bruce didn’t do a job. It’s quite simple really. Anyway I’m off now and I’ll catch you later.

This isn’t actually correct. He wanted to aim higher and wanted to target above and beyond. But when he couldn’t he adjusted his own targets to what the club had set was survival. If he had come out and said my target is 17th he would have got crucified. Give the man some dignity.
Put yourself in Bruce’s shoes. Your told at board level your only target is 17th. Do you come out in the public and say this. Do you ****. You say your target is much higher. But then when you can’t improve on what you wanted and fall back on what your actual target is you say that. But he then achieved 12th and 13th anyways. Again don’t get me wrong I hate the man. And his attitude but we can’t all go on denying that he didn’t over achieve. His target was always survival. Which ever way you want to cut it.

He knew Bruce's s job was to keep newcastle in the premier league ie 17th and he's admitted that.( when he realised I had him trapped he said his admission wasn't genuine) He is trying to wriggle out of that admission by saying that wasn't Bruce's own personal goal. Unfortunately his personal goal is irrelevant I had him trapped and I was forced to engage because he made a fallacious claim.. He could've just said ah OK I see your point, but he chose to instead try and lie his way out and open up another cans of worms. I know how he operates so I posted this before I trapped him.
The next port of call will be to have a go at me and say Bruce's gone and they don't care, so stop going on about it.... That to them is easier than just conceding that I was right in the 1st place and that they just didn't understand.
