I really hope that the club stands by Stuart, he’s been great for us and has worn the shirt with pride. A years extension is not asking too much is it?

We can't waste money like that if we're still in the Championship. Plus with all the financial regulations it would be wasted money. We could allow him to use the club facilities while he rehabs though.

Martin can’t keep complaining about our strikers missing chances, it’s been the same all season. He should know it by now and know how to shut a game down and see out a 1-0 win. In that respect it is on Russ.

I agree fully with your last point and get the business issue with the financial regs etc. We’re not really sure about his recovery time either but if we stay in the Championship, obviously there’s going to be a real sorting out and restructuring for the team, and I for one, if it’s possible, would like to see Stuart remain and offer some decent and proven experience to the squad.

Now his injury isn't long term I would be more than happy for him to stay. Can't see it though.
