We can't waste money like that if we're still in the Championship. Plus with all the financial regulations it would be wasted money. We could allow him to use the club facilities while he rehabs though.
I would imagine that there would be some form of accident insurance that may cover some of the costs?
I agree fully with your last point and get the business issue with the financial regs etc. We’re not really sure about his recovery time either but if we stay in the Championship, obviously there’s going to be a real sorting out and restructuring for the team, and I for one, if it’s possible, would like to see Stuart remain and offer some decent and proven experience to the squad.
Or if we wanted him to stay. It could be a decision from both parties - he's not getting any younger.
