The stats show 15 attempts on goal with ONE on target. Don't know who compiles these stats for BBC but it's worrying. The clean sheets are now common but not scoring also seems common. Is this evidence of an 11 man defense?

A massive compliment to us from your manager today. All week he's been banging on about how our attack needed nullifying and it seems he set you up to stop us scoring, which didn't allow his own team to attack much. As I say a great compliment to us and another good away point to give us 8 from the last 4 games, something that would have seemed unlikely when the fixtures were released.

Far from it cs. One attempt hit the post, How Stiepermann missed, only he knows, there were 4 blocked shots and 2 or 3 others that only just missed.

Tim Sherwood knows just how Marco Stiepermann feels after missing from a few inches yesterday!

The fact that our sole goalscoring striker was warming up at pretty much full pace after the ground had emptied augurs well for Reading, if not Middlesbrough. Say what you want but Jerome's race (at this level) is pretty much run, so we're limited to one effective striker until January at the earliest <yikes>

Edit: Pierre Fonkeu is 23 years old. During Nelson's enforced absence, what better time for him to get a spot on the bench and come on for 10 or 15 minutes as the defence tire?

Murphy crossing the ball into the penalty box and NOT one of our players in there!
It's a theme that continues week after week!
    It's awful to watch!

That's something I'd spotted in previous games too. Particularly when Jerome/Oliveira are out wide in the buildup, nobody looks to adopt their role in the box. We just have a cluster of players around the D. Admittedly Hoolahan, Maddison or Vrancic are hardly imposing players to worry CBs, but somebody is better than nobody!

Josh also seems to have "perfected" the art of crosses hit hard enough to be shots, which nobody stands a chance of actually attacking. Shoot, or play a proper cross Josh, not the worst of both...

Both he and Abrahams (who we signed from Leyton Orient have been quite impressive for the under 23s and I'd love to see one of them given a chance.

I agree ILD and yet other teams manage to get 3 or 4 players in the box when they're attacking!!

From David Freezer on today's EDP article - "Our man of the match goes to midfield star Tom Trybull for the second weekend in a row though, as the 24-year-old started his fifth match on the bounce – in which City have gone unbeaten.
If he can keep up his current form this free signing could well prove to be one of the best bargains ever picked up by the Canaries."

I seem to remember you saying that earlier this week Cromer!!!!
