So tomorrow sees the ‘Battle of Birds’ when the Canaries take on the Robins and let’s hope we can ruffle our opponents’ feathers. A win would see us go above them in the table and we’d also go above our other ‘feathered friends’ – ‘the owls’ as their derby is on Sunday. Villa are going well, so could beat Forest and we would then overtake them as well and so be in the top 10!!!! From today's presser - Neither Martin or Naismith will feature as both are injured JM has recovered from his tight muscles after Saturday, but may be rested ready for Boro on Tuesday. I’ve actually got a ticket for the game, so won’t be posting much during the match.
Well peeps, it's game day at the Deliadome please log in to view this image vs please log in to view this image
Just for Duncan So after six games under Farke, The mood in the camp was much darker, But unbeaten in four, with clean sheets galore, It feels like we've put down a marker
Can't believe I just got three (3) 'likes' for a spontaneous, naff limerick! Still, at least I used proper words, not a 'tis, 'twas or 'twould to be seen
It didn't scan correctly though, which is why, sometimes, poetic licence demands the adaptations of word forms!
All I really meant was, if you don't enjoy poetry then that's fine, but don't ridicule those of us that enjoy it and understand the subtleties of it!
Dunc Do was gagging for a poem the other day, so I gave it my best shot. To keep him quiet I used to enjoy RBF's contributions when 'twasn't full of contrived words and twaddle. His rationale and logic in conventional prose was always pretty accurate and lucidly put - even if I didn't necessarily agree with all of his points, like remaining in the second tier for all eternity
My cousin's oldest son is being surprised today by being a mascot for the day for the game, he's been through a tough time lately and is only 8 years old but he's mad on football and NCFC.
I'm on the train to Brighton with the kids My favourite Fish and chip shop Bankers second only to the legendary chip Inn allegedly.
At £16.50 for Dover sole & greaseball potatoes, I hope it's your kids' turn to pay https://www.bankers-restaurant.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/BankersRestMenu.pdf
Team news in 45 minutes. Such a shame that (by far) our best striker is still not fit. Never mind, Watkins did ok last time out
The posh restaurant is next to the take away and all cooked in the same kitchen, if you eat in with a bottle of wine you won't get much change from £80. Alternatively you get it to take away eat it across the road in Norfolk square and buy drinks outside. Best fish and chips i have eaten.
