Buttner problem

Y'alright Nicola, just wanted to say my son won't sign unless you give me... hmm... let's say... £3,500,000?? Many thanks, Alexander's father.

Hello, Alexanders father.
1. We want to buy your son, not you.
2. **** off you greedy c**t.

Buttner is a 23 year old bloke surely his father can't lay a financial claim unless he has some sort of weird contract on his his son?

I think it doesn't look good for Buttner from the eyes of SFC, if I wanted to go to a club and my dad said "no not unless you pay me" I know I would politely tell my dad to do one!

Buttner looks like the sort that if he had no footballing talent would be down superdrug nicking expensive perfume.

Just remembered that in an article on the net, Buttner said he came from a group of travellers. And when others in his footballing group moved on he didn't want to leave home which held up his career a bit. May explain his fathers demands...different social set to what we are used to.

Sorry but he seem's to be a liability already. If things are complicated it does not bode well.. I think of Delgado always when transfers are protracted.......how well did that go?

I'm also surprised that no-one appears to have yet added to the 'I can't believe it's not Buttner' line.

It's true his father, Bredan Buttner wants a slice but didn't want the news to spread for fear of upsetting his wife Clarafide. Meanwhile the player's agent, Loorpak Unsoltad says "we don't know if the Buttner side of things will be looking up or down if the deal is dropped, it's a 50-50 chance". A friend of Buttner's, Ms Kerry Gold is quoted as saying "He is very upset that after having the contract held tightly in his hands he has allowed it to slip from his (Buttner's) fingers"

First time I've seen someone suggesting one of the Rangers deals had actually collapsed. Still, the Sun isn't even fit for ****ting on, so I'm happy to ignore it.

Too true. I'm fairly sure the Davis deal will be a cert to happen.

It's one of those articles which doesn't offer any sort of proof. Just a paragraph which you or I could've typed.

Being a journalist for the Sun must be one of the easiest jobs in the world!

In Echo, Buttner's agents says deal down to Saints as third party issue resolved. I think NC's decision will depend how serious this matter was and if he forsees problems in the future. He won't want this 'third-party' tagged on to any subsequent deal that SFC make with Buttner.

Does anybody think we're taking this a bit too seriously? Personally I don't really care if the deal falls through, it's not as if it's Messi. If we don't sign Buttner then i'm sure we can find somebody else just as good.
