And another poster, yet again like a dog with a ****ing bone...

For the record, I'm sitting on the fence with our owners if that's good enough? Their actions have been fantastic or seemingly short-sighted and irratic and it raises questions... the biggest reason I'm sat on the fence though, is because everything seemed pretty rosy with our previous owners for so long.

Reading through the threads on this forum have been cringeworthy recently from both sides of this apparent Allam divide. You're certainly one of the worst from the pro-Allam side, but I could pick so many others who are consistently bickering about things that NOBODY knows the facts about... It might as well be a "which is the true religion" debate.

I'm praying (no pun intended) come Friday that people shift their focus to the Euros, at least for a week to give this a chance to disintegrate. I've noticed loads of the usual posters have stayed away for a good week or so now. It's tedious, off putting and so, so boring to read through. You open a thread about the likely candidate for new manager and it quickly devolves into a puddle of wet **** because one of the same few trumped up nancy boys is attempting to prematurely play the "I told you so" card when they haven't got a ****ing clue what's going on! The misinterpretations between posters of either side make it ten times worse!

Where have all these posters developed such a stubborn, unrelenting agenda?

Can we have an Allam debate thread for this please? I'll know what to avoid that way and it'll save so many threads.

So I never mentioned the Allams, I simply pointed out that the people who worship Nick and Adam have been waiting for a response from both of these 2 to vindicate their own stances, and my view is, we won't get one from either of them and that the worshippers will respond in the way I indicated.

You seem to make a rather wrong generalisation about me too, my stance has been consistant right from the start. I believe neither side is blameless. Even if (and I dont think we will) a statement WAS made by Nick or Adam, I've also consistatly stated, my view would be the truth would lie somewhere between the Allams and Nick/Adams statements.

I've always said both sides are responsible for this. I firmly believe we won't see closure on this because it would llikely reflect badly on Nick and Adam and it suits some people better to make them appear the victims. Sad thing is, its us and the club (not the Allams, not Nick and not Adam) who are the victims in all of this.

Apparantly this means Im a 100% Allam supporter and 100% against Nick/Adam.

Actually Im a Hull City supporter, I will always be grateful to the Allams for saving our club from disappearing and attempting to make it into a properly run business with a solid long term future and success we can sustain, if they make what I consider a bad decision, I will say so but so far other than the way Nick was sacked which I do not know the actual circumstances around, I don't see anything to critisize. For me, the jury is out on that one decision.

I will always admire what Nick did for us and Im sorry he left in the way he did. I honestly couldnt give 2 ****s about Adam, he did some good stuff for us a few years back but recently was just a drain on finances, offered us nothing and was taking the piss.

I hope that clears it up for you.

Great post mate, you're not the only one sick of reading stuff like this and I hope they put an Allam specific 'sticky' thread on here, great suggestion

Okay, so taking a huge leap as far as assuming Bruce is signed.

How about....

Flog Stewart to Celtic/Leicester/Boro for, say, £3m then lump in a bit more cash, say £1-2m and put in an offer for Campbell. Sounds like a decent value upgrade to me.

Enough of it!

Sorry but who out there better than Bruce would you realistically expect to get/want the job? We're not gonna attract the very top managers when we're a Championship club. For the size of our club and current ambitions Bruce is a good appointment.

I didn't expect to get Nigel Pearson. I think it shows how good Adam Pearson was at getting to punch above our weight.

I wasn't too impressed with Bruce towards they end of his time at Sunderland. He just stood there with a resigned helpless look on his face. I suppose a lot of managers get like that before the end.

Fraizer Campbell was in the england squad earlier this year. There's absolutely no chance he'll be coming back here any time soon.

It seems unlikely, but Bruce has a fair bit of pulling power and he originally signed Campbell from under our noses didn't he ?.

I'd settle for a season long loan <whistle>

Do we? Or do we know the LCFC owners offered him a **** load of money and he claimed he had unfinished business to do?

I could of course be wrong, so if you can direct me to a link, with direct quotes from Nige explaining the problems he had with the Allams, I'd be grateful.

Whilst I agree that he wanted to go to Leicester for more money and because he felt unloved by the fans, it has also been well documented on here and in the HDM that Nigel was unhappy with some of the penny pinching the Allam's were doing and even walked out of a press conference once because of someone he was close to being sacked. I am sure you will find some direct quotes somewhere but really I am not making this up and I am sure other posters will back me on this one.

Sorry Golden Nuts but I was just replying to a question about my original post which really is not Allam bashing just me saying I was waiting to see Bruce actually coming out and saying he definitely is our Manager before getting too excited about it.

If the HDM are to be believed (and take it with a pinch of salt if you like) they say that last night the two parties were somewhat far apart and could not come to an agreement.

The way I read that was that the disagreement was with the other person on the shortlist, not Bruce.

No worries but it's not just me that is noticing that threads on here are getting derailed with posters discussing the Allams, the threads about Bruce after all

I did not mention them, I was responding to an accusation aimed at me. I too would like to see this stop. We don't need a thread on the Allams we need to just accept it is what it is at the moment and move on and start supporting the club we all are meant to love. Rehashing the same ****e over and over again is tedious.

Oddly I think we agree, and even though there's some opposing views, the majority of posters on here would think the same I suspect. Sadly it only takes one muppet to post something and it gets a response. I know I've responded to stuff that possibly would be better ignored, but I find it hard to do that when someone makes stuff up about me.
