to be fair, in order to sign players for a struggling, unfashionable club like Hull City in the PL, Brown had to pay over the odds. Best of the 3, Gardner was an England international and played well until Turner got injured. Playing alongside Zayatte would be enogh to destroy anyone's belief in clean sheets.
Gardner was injury prone and a massive gamble, as was Bullard, Olifinjana Mcshane Kilbane Ghilas Halmosi were just silly horrible buys
If people think he's **** before he signs, and he turns out to give the winning goal away with a stupid error in his first start, why would they not bring it up again?
Gardner was just an utterly ****e footballer and that's that. There are a few basic things that a centre half needs to do and Gardner couldn't do any of them. In the 09-10 season he was at fault for almost every goal we conceded.
Get used to it people. Bruce will get you complete **** for massive fees. The biggest bullshitter ever, the FGB. Be prepared for a relegation battle. The 'Boris Johnson' of managers.
