If people think he's **** before he signs, and he turns out to give the winning goal away with a stupid error in his first start, why would they not bring it up again? Gardner was just an utterly ****e footballer and that's that. There are a few basic things that a centre half needs to do and Gardner couldn't do any of them. In the 09-10 season he was at fault for almost every goal we conceded.
