Keano on the ITV highlights show last night, discussing excitement in the Champions League the past few weeks: -

"Maybe we should give the coaches credit for that (all the goals), they all seem attack minded these days. Yeah we could criticise the defending but the attacking play in the Champions League over the past few weeks has been great to watch."

Are you listening Mourinho?!!!

New Wes Brown interview talking about Jose, the Class of '92 and of course, Roy Keane..

Also with the United dressing room having players full of strong personalities, what were the important lessons you learned when you broke into the first team?

I think it (strong character) has always been Roy Keane because he was the prime example (of a strong leader). He is the best captain I have ever worked under. He was a winner. He knew what was the best for the team. He knew what we needed to do. If someone was having a bad day, he’d make sure they knew about it (in order) to get themselves up for it. He was a sort of captain where you would want to work hard for him as well. Just like the manager, he knew what it was to win games.

Twitter going crazy for Keane to be United assistant manager with the departure of Rui Faria. Won't happen under Mourinho but it's nice to see the support.

Keano, Giggsy, Gary Nev and Uncle Pat all signed up for ITV World Cup coverage. Four ex captains - the place to be for United fans.

The BBC will no doubt have a token bird babbling on about something she knows **** all about so yeah, you're right.

We played better from around the 55th minute yesterday - took us that long to get going (or took the manager that long to loosen the leash). Of course Roy Keane would have had the players fired up and playing better from the kick off.

Who would have thought Keano likes Pogba...

“He’s a good player. Would he feel he could have had a better season? Probably,

“Usually the good players are quite critical of themselves. When you play for Man United and you don’t win a trophy you probably would be critical of yourself.

“I like him, I think he’s a good player, a good kid. He probably needs better help around him, good influences around the training ground.

“I was the luckiest man on the planet when I was a player, I always had good lads around me, senior players who led by example. Pogba probably doesn’t have that at United.”

~Roy Keane, yesterday

Think he's hinting what he could do for Pogba.

United in advanced transfer talks for Keane to succeed Mourinho!

I made that up, like most of the other transfer speculation.
