Nobody believed that, though.

It was the north of England that voted to leave, the south voted to stay. Most people I know that voted, done so because they're against the EU ruling over us. They're aren't voted in so if we don't like them there's **** all we can do about it. Where as here, if we don't like the government we have an option to change it.

They're putting together an EU army for **** sake. That'll go down well with, Putin. I want no part in that.

I've spoke to a few Jocks now who want independence because they don't want to be ruled by Westminister anymore, they want to make their own laws and regulations. Then I ask them if they'd like Scotland to apply to join the EU and they say, yes <doh>

Gives me an idea. Howabout we put a hard border at the Watford Gap, and you monkey hangers can have your own, proudly independent England full of whippets and ferrets, while the rest of us rejoin the 21st Century.

Problem. Solved.

I see the Scottish Nazi Party have put taxes up on the Scottish people, again. You now pay more than anybody else in the UK. Bravo <applause>

I'm sure they are raging at all those free prescriptions and University places.
I am ...

Free prescription should be means tested...if you are on benefits , they shoudl should be free. If you work full time and earn over a certain amount , you should have to pay.

Free university places isnt working as you would expect

It would cost more to administrate the means testing than it does for the scripts. Plus the people who are likely to benefit most from free scripts are unlikely to claim them. It's fine the way it is.

It would cost more to means test it than just give out free prescriptions apparently.
It's a crazy system ...some **** that can afford a few quid for a cough bottle , gets it's free ...and the NHS is over charged for the privilege

Something that would cost you about 3 quid cost at least double.

If you work and earn over a certain amount, you should not be able to claim free prescriptions for anything other than treatment for chronic illnesses or illnesses that stop you from working or indeed may end up terminal (i.e cancer )

Common sense needs to be used. Big sign up in my doctors with a list of things he won't prescribe due to them being cheap to buy like Paracetamol etc. Can get a box of 16 for about 30p in Tescos and ****s were going to the doctors for them

Same here for children's allowance,Bono,O'Leary etc all entitled to it<grr>

BTW been a Jaffa doesen't cloud my judgement.

It is though. Doesn't bother me one bit and I am very rarely at a doctor's or need free prescriptions. I don't mind others, less fortunate gaining from it. If that means cùnts that can afford to pay don't then so be it as long as those who can't afford to pay are looked after.

So , it's not perfect ...
