So in other words. he's behind Bednarek and Lyanco in the pecking order. I despair.You must log in or register to see media
With the greatest of respect, it's now very obvious that despite pleading and pointing to the metrics, Nathan is making it up as he goes along. He'll have some more nonsense lined up tomorrow when he oversees another ham-fisted effort of a performance at Brentford.
I'm going to throw in a real curveball. If we're going to play 5-3-2 (we shouldn't, but if), and we're going to use Onuachu up top, our wingbacks should be Perraud on the left...and JWP on the right. JWP is basically the only player in the squad that can hit good crosses from deeper positions. He also very much blows hot and cold in that advanced midfield position; there are games where he's influential, and many where he's pretty anonymous.
But at wingback he hits some wonderful balls into the box, and if we're doing a Che/Onuachu front pair, we'll actually have two attackers that are good from crosses. Also allows us to move Alvarez further up the pitch to focus on providing some flair and drive forward with fewer defensive duties.
F*cking save the moaning guys until;
a) Jones has picked the team
b) We’re playing badly
c) We’ve lost
Pre-match is all about irrational hope, and puns.
Match day get it in the net.Things are going swimmingly and we will win tomorrow Cod willing.
Is that right? There's a scale I'm sure and I don't want to be on the hook for getting it wrong but wanted to get my feet wet. ...Holding my breath.
and with the greatest of respectMatch day, god willing.
Please no. Really, please no. You’re preempting death by a thousand cuts.Can't wait for the inevitable 5 at the back, go 2-0 down and he changes to 4 at the back, look better but by then it's too late. Sounds fun.
Deserves it's plaice.
