I'd have been a bit more worried if Leicester would have signed this guy...
Is Kane even still in WWF (or whatever it changed to for legal reasons)?
Takes me back that does.

Just trying to work out this seven figure sum, has their chairman counted the wages that the club have saved in this deal from loaning him out, and then maybe due to the way we wish to structure the deal we have had to pay a premium to have him available for the play offs? Perhaps.
A player i have long admired and wish we got him sooner, but its never to late.
@PJBuckingham
#hcafc's version of the Boyd deal very different to the "seven figure" sum. A source tells me it's 200k up front with possibility of add-ons
That seems fair enough. A Win-win situation. Especially if we require Peterboro help to get around the 93 day ruling.

A great signing. I think Bruce will rotate Koren, Boyd and Quinn between the two positions that Quinn and Koren currently occupy, as both Koren and Quinn have looked tired recently.

I think there's an agreement already in place to sign him up.The capture of George Boyd could the Fraizer Campbell type catalyst that we have been waiting for, when you consider that this was the guy that probably made Craig Makail-Smith look a £3M player, and even Aaron MacLean look like a 'striker' worth £1.2M, God only knows what he is gonna increase Gedo's valuation to by the end of the season, but if I was Papa I'd be signing the Egyptian up on a permanent NOW, and pronto!

I presume so, hopefully we aren't that naive.Yeah but is that at an agreed price, I know it has been reported that we have first option on Gedo for a 12 month period, but if, as I suspect, he starts going goal crazy now from GB assists then he may be pushed out of our price bracket.
@bbcburnsy
Permanent deal for George Boyd at end of loan is agreed. Not sure how 93 days works but suspect cunning plan. Excellent signing #hcafc
If the deal formally starts on Saturday 23/02/13 it will end on play-off final day 27/05/13
I saw that mentioned on Twitter, but he's supposed to be playing tomorrow and to do that he has to be registered as our player by noon today.
