#hcafc's version of the Boyd deal very different to the "seven figure" sum. A source tells me it's 200k up front with possibility of add-ons
 
A great signing. I think Bruce will rotate Koren, Boyd and Quinn between the two positions that Quinn and Koren currently occupy, as both Koren and Quinn have looked tired recently.

That seems fair enough. A Win-win situation. Especially if we require Peterboro help to get around the 93 day ruling.
 
The capture of George Boyd could the Fraizer Campbell type catalyst that we have been waiting for, when you consider that this was the guy that probably made Craig Makail-Smith look a £3M player, and even Aaron MacLean look like a 'striker' worth £1.2M, God only knows what he is gonna increase Gedo's valuation to by the end of the season, but if I was Papa I'd be signing the Egyptian up on a permanent NOW, and pronto!

I think there's an agreement already in place to sign him up.
 
Yeah but is that at an agreed price, I know it has been reported that we have first option on Gedo for a 12 month period, but if, as I suspect, he starts going goal crazy now from GB assists then he may be pushed out of our price bracket.

I presume so, hopefully we aren't that naive.
 
I honestly do not think you need to concern yourselves about the play-offs, automatic promotion is there for the taking.

Though no games are easy in the Championship, 7 of your remaining games are against teams trying to avoid the drop - winning those 7
will be a huge favour to Posh as well!

If you look at the last picture of the 'standingontheglebe' blog just imagine that George Boyd is in a Tigers shirt on Saturday 4th May just before 1430
having scored the winning goal against Cardiff to secure the title for the Tigers.......

The Football League says noon on day of the match for a 3 pm kick-off:

"41.3 Subject to Regulations 41.4 and 41.5, a Player will only be eligible to play in a match organised by The League if the appropriate forms for his Standard Loan, Emergency Loan, Youth Loan or Emergency Loan of a goalkeeper transfer are received (including by facsimile) and found to be in order by the Executive:

41.3.1 in respect of any fixture played on a weekday when the Office is normally open, at least three hours before the match; or

41.3.2 in respect of any other fixture:

(a) 12 noon on the day of the match; or

(b) at least three hours before the match, whichever is the earlier."
