I'm absolutely chuffed at this signing. Adds another attacking element to the team. Loads of people comparing him to Koren, am I the only person who thinks he could play a similar role to Aluko? Not so flashy but still creative and can get goals. I've seen Koren's role recently as an attempt at playing in Aluko's position and think Boyd is more suited for that than he is, hopefully Koren can move back into the midfield role he's better at.
Koren's a better midfielder, Boyd's a better attacking player, imo.

I don't see why you can't agree a loan in advance of the start date.

I would have thought it was possible, but he couldn't play before the start date (obviously) and we wouldn't want him playing for Posh in the meantime in case he got injured.

Edit - this would be academic anyway if you can break up the loan as has been suggested

Even more academic if we make automatic promotion. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Apparently this morning at training the players were taking part in a shooting practice competition, Georgie Boyd won it, the person who told me this said that Boyd has a fantastic shot on him!

A little taster of what you Tigers fans can expect if you haven't already seen it:

Add to that the 50 yard shot vs Huddersfied from the centre circle and numerous assists
including 3 at Millwall this week

Cheers mate, your fans have taken his departure well it seems. Better than ours would anyway.

Good luck to you for the rest of the seaosn.

Decent club, fans, ground and chairmen.

I saw my mate, the other day,
I think I've found the white Pele.
My mate said who, who is he?
I told my mate he's George Boydy

We Posh fans have known for a long time that George would, we are just grateful that we were able to hold
on to him for so long.

Seeing Cardiff and Hull 1 and 2 at the top of the table reminds me of the 'Great Escape' in 98 and how the old 3rd Div table looked -

21 Cardiff City 46 5 13 5 27 22 4 10 9 21 30 48 52 –4 50
22 Hull City 46 10 6 7 36 32 1 2 20 20 51 56 83 –27 41
23 Brighton 46 3 10 10 21 34 3 7 13 17 32 38 66 –28 35
24 Doncaster 46 3 3 17 14 48 1 5 17 16 65 30 113 –83 20

How times have changed!
