This Tymon argument is tiresome. Boring. Boring. Boring. Insert fart noise. How long will it rage on? No one is going to change their minds. Be quiet. Be happy. X

To be fair, you were utterly slating young Clark a few weeks’ back – who’s now picked up - so we’ll see how Kingsley develops. The fee for Kinglsey is probably bollocks anyway and just a method of scamming Chesterfield.

I can’t guarantee its authenticity, but it was in the public domain that City’s final offer was around 3k p/w? The figure that most ‘self described’ ITK types were saying that Tymon would have accepted as he was simply desperate to stay.

You'll have to direct me to my posts 'utterly slating' young Clark as I don't remember posting them. I certainly said I didn't think he looked good enough at left back at this level, but you'd have to be rather fragile to call that a slating. As for Kingsley, I said 'from what we've seen so far', I obviously hope he improves, his reputation suggests there's more to come.

Poor lad, that's another one I seem to have utterly slated.

Whether you chose to believe it or not, I know we could have kept Tymon had we handled it better and no ranting you or Chazz do on here will change that view.

I despise the Allam regime and have opposed it since pre-season 2013 (unlike most of the Italy during WW2 types on here).

However, for me, the main story is: local boy sacks off local club for more money elsewhere.

It's less likely Tymon would have 'sacked us off' if the Allams weren't here because:

A) Any sane owner would have entered contract negotiations when it became clear he was even half-decent, probably before the Arsenal game I would guess

B) They wouldn't have tried to make a first team professional play on a scholarship deal

Players aren't saints, the cleverest or the most loyal. That's why it's necessary not to have a complete moron-**** as an owner to take care of this **** before it occurs.

As far as Tymon is concerned, I guess the ideal situation for all parties would be that if he was hell bent on signing for Stoke, then to have agreed he stays at City on loan for this season. Unfortunately the way Ehab seems to have handled the whole thing, made that an impossibility.
In my experience, in business, and for that matter in life in general you should never slam doors as you never know when you may need to go back. It appears that Ehab Allam has yet to learn this valuable life lesson.

He was left with the option of a good deal at Stoke, or a **** one with us. Ehab even tried to force him to play another year on scholarship terms ffs.

As this stands as the nearest thing to the truth that I have come across, it really does make criticism of the lad really quite poor. I've even seen the daft argument being used to criticise his ability and future prospects. All very sad and revealing.

Seems to have played a blinder with Bowen though eh?
He signed when Tymon wouldn't and has now signed another one.

It probably fair to say that mistakes were made on both sides, as far as Tymon was concerned. I suspect they learnt by the Tymon situation, not to make the same mistakes with Bowen.

But you are right in saying that Bowen has done the right thing, and Tymon is looking as if he is just going to be playing in the U23's at Stoke.

Learning from mistakes has not exactly been a hallmark of the Allams over the past 4 years.

Boothroyd said he had a great deal of talent at his disposal at the moment and it takes a great deal to break into the current squad.

To be fair, all the current England U21 midfielders and strikers are at Premier League clubs.

Are they all playing regularly and scoring though? Bowen's top scorer in the Championship and not by a fluke.

Apart from the New York lad Harrison. No idea whether he's any good at all.

No it wasn't. There's been absolutely nothing in the public domain to suggest anything remotely positive about this situation, which makes it all the more bizarre that some people are so determined to believe the unlikely version of events that Ehab was really sensible about it all and couldn't do anything more.

The obvious reason is Tymon's age. Ehab will have failed to understand why a 17-year old should be on a pro contract and ignored the few football people left at the club who'll have been telling him to get it sorted. "But he's 17, we can keep him on a scholarship for a couple more years can't we?" This is where that arrogant Allam thinking comes in; the belief that everyone in football has it wrong and they know so much better because soundbusinessprinciples. The same as how Ehab can't understand how kids get tickets cheaper in football (they don't get generators cheaper and it's the same seat after all) and how Assem couldn't believe that he had to apply to an external body to change the name of his (sic) club. It's all just classic Allam stuff; completely out of touch with the real world.

Yes it was. It was reported here.

and elsewhere. Hence public domain. I already said I couldn’t guarantee its authenticity.

I despise the Allam regime. But you seriously lack objectivity and lament and see everything they do in pejoration.

Perhaps it’s my schooling, but it makes you seem unreliable and damages your credibility.

After a few games, you dismissed him as not being good enough for this division, which I’d say for a footballer, could be adequately described as slating or utterly slating (given that he's intended to play in this division). It’s semantic of course.

Additionally, factoring in that he’s young, Hull born and new to the first team, it emphasises my point.

Also, do you often perceive a view contrary to your own as ‘ranting’?

Seems somewhat insecure.

I think this is an excellent post. It puts to bed the drivel it answers, or it would in a reasoned debate. <ok>

Is there something the Allams have done which has been unduly lamented, by me or anyone else? If anything I think they're extremely lucky to have got off so lightly considering the list of things they've done.

Your posts are closer to ranting than my are to slating.

I've been described as many things on here, most of them the polar opposite of insecure.

Are they all playing regularly and scoring though? Bowen's top scorer in the Championship and not by a fluke.

Tammy Abraham - 2 in 7 for Swansea.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin - Hasn't scored in 6 for Everton (though I thought he looked excellent on Saturday, despite Everton being crap).
Demarai Gray - Never scores for Leicester, though his England U21's record is pretty good.
Jack Harrison - He's scored 10 in 32 for New York City this season (called up to replace the injured Ojo).
Ademola Lookman - Hasn't even played in the league this season.
Dominic Solanke - Hasn't scored in three for Liverpool (though he's a very good player).

You could make a decent case for sticking Bowen in there ahead of Lookman or Harrison.
