There were quite a few at the back (Swansea) having a go at the supporters who weren't singing at the front. Something along the lines of: you've travelled so far and still don't sing A shame because at least they were at the game. I was lucky that it was the Easter holidays for Sussex.
When you say fan vote on stadium atmosphere, does that mean they were asked whether they think the atmosphere in their own stadium is good or not?
True enough, Stoke have great home support, but they're knuckle dragging Neanderthal planks, so get marked down. It's fair enough.
Doveston, you shouldn't be falling out with dj, he's one of the few on here that does pretty much every game.
Can you tell us where anyone sitting down sings in the KC? Not the West Stand. Or the South Stand. Norths STand sees all away fans standing for 90 minutes (without stewards bothering them). So where are the sedentary singers?
I think the article I saw on noise at the grounds was in the Sun so I will go with OLM's version, still 7th from bottom is no great shakes. Someone has to take the initiative to get the atmosphere revved up soon, hopefully somebody reading a thread like this might come up with a few workable ideas.
No it isn't. Highbury was called The Library, mainly because it sort of rhymed and it has carried on from there.
No allegedly about it. I've been in corporate a few times and there are plenty of people in there who were amongst the 3,000 at BP in the old days (unlike some who go now, but weren't there then, and tell everyone how they should behave at football games, sit down, don't make too much noise etc) and others who try and conceal their City tattos they had done when they were youngsters.
Well it was tongue in cheek given the only options offered were sit and be quiet or stand and sing, but try reading the post you're quoting and the discussion that followed. I'm aware of a few people dotted round me that sing whilst sitting because they have kids or short people sat behind them. Sitting and singing aren't exclusive states for people to be in.
