There's just something wrong about sitting down and singing. In any circumstance. I dunno, it just feels wrong to me. I was always told in my school assemblies that you can't sing prroperly unless you're stood up nice and tall. Maybe they were right. And no, they didn't molest me.

Let's just hope that Boro goal vs Burnley helps us, given that our GD is that little bit better than BFC's.

They told me the same thing, it's supposed to be to do with improving your breathing. I don't know if it's just me being the type that likes to prove teachers wrong or whether it goes back to the terracing at BP when I was younger because I was too short to see properly so I always sat on the railings so I could sing and see at the same time. Now it's the opposite situation, I'm 6'3" so if I stand up to sing the shorter people behind can have difficulty seeing even if they do the same.

The irony is, that the ones that do the most singing are the the ones that also do most of the booing. I don't really get it, there's little point in supporting some of the team and abusing others. There will always be some parts of the ground that are quieter than others, it's the same at pretty much every ground, as long as there's enough singing to create a good atmosphere, then it doesn't really matter.

Just for the record, you can only get pie, peas and gravy, or soup with a roll in the members bar, there isn't a prawn in sight. And I'm certainly not southern. :emoticon-0120-doh:

For me its not even singing that would help the atmosphere, it's just people shouting out their support for the lads when they need it, theres quite a few that just expect the team to turn it on and only get vocal when it doesnt happen, I was watching a game the other day (think it was Arsenal) and the commentators where saying how much it would help the team if the atmosphere wasnt so quiet, and i thought straight away of the KC.

I didn't know that! Hopefully the KC won't get a similar nickname, they actually measured the sound levels of all the Premiership clubs last year and we were the quietest (there will be a link somewhere on the internets) obviously that was then but it still needs sorting out now.

A lot of the "Diehards" are blaming the "Prawn Sarnie Brigade" and "Big Corporates" for the loss of atmosphere!!

Is that the one Stoke won? If so it was pure nonsense as far as "sound survey's" go. Meaningless media pap.
