Seems like they`ve virtually told him to bugger off and he still won`t go.

Beats me mate.

Also, if he does not want to be part of ANY move to Sunderland then why is his picture on Twitter of him still in a Sunderland shirt. My head is also spinning about this, talk about a saga!!!

Tell Liverpool they have until tomorrow 18:00 and announce it on Sky, if it goes past the deadline go place a bid on Welbeck.

Because this to me is start to reek of desperation, and getting a little bit embarrassing.

Or determination ...... if Poyet has received no encouragement he wouldn't be putting his credibility on the line.

It's obvious that there's still a chance Borini will come.

On the other hand the situation means we can quietly pursue other options.

GUSTAVO POYET hopes to have more new signings with Sunderland in Portugal this week and one of his earlier recruits thinks the trip will be ideal for team bonding.
New-boy thinks trip is perfect for Sunderland as Poyet considers Borini loan

Sunderland have not given up hope of signing Liverpool striker Fabio Borini. The two clubs agreed a £14million fee last week and Black Cats boss Gus Poyet is meeting with Borini today and he is hoping to persuade him that his future lies on Wearside.sky sports news.

Liverpool have enquired about Southampton forward Jay Rodriguez, 24, after Loic Remy's proposed £8.5m move from QPR to Anfield fell through. Talksport

Paper talk again but what chance has borini even getting on the bench <bubbly>

I couldnt care less now. I want rodriquez and johnson either side of the front man with Giaccherini behind. That 14m is much better spent elsewhere on a quality centre back and full back or centre mid

Personally i think a lefty on each flank would cause no end of Problems, mainly an odd, imbalanced less effective attack.

Well I think he must realise by now he's not wanted at liverpool if not us he will go somewhere else.as I've stated before I'm not arsed whether he comes or not <bubbly>

Most teams do it with two righties so I think itd work the same. Whoever is left tries to get wide and whip balls in. Whoever is right tries to cut In and link up with Giaccherini or play jones in down the line after hes took the opposition players inside.

Some do some don't. Some teams have trouble getting lefties in, some don't, some people like it some don't, I don't like it personally.

Gus doesn't like it as he's been quoted as preferring inverted wingers with overlapping wingbacks, I'm with Gus on this one.
