I’m very happy to pay under a fiver for a pint of Hurlimann in my local/ office <cheers>
I'm very happy to pay five quid exactly for two pints of Fosters in my match day local. Beer snobs that don't like Fosters are free to do one. (Polite version) :emoticon-0138-think

No they’ve weakened all the strong stuff down to 4.8 % now , my father-in-law introduced me to the real stuff many years ago without me knowing - I could hardly talk after 3 pints o_O
I see Fullers ESB has also come down to 5.1% from 5.5%. Still packed a punch though. The first time I tried it I didn't realise how strong it was, due to the fact that it was extremely drinkable, and I had 6 pints. I won't go into that particular evening.

The Rose Of Denmark has stopped doing Fullers and Meantime. The only bitter is John Smith's which is about 3.5%.

My Bank Manager is very pleased to hear that I did not pay more than £7 for a pint whilst back home.

I did get clobbered for around £6.90 in a craft beer gaff in Portchester when we went to football on Easter Saturday, I suffered that.

Sadly, but not surprisingly, I flew through the £7 barrier in Vasteras(near Stockholm) last Friday, the day before the mighty Elsborg played out a 2-2 draw.
