This is my favourite and is the same price as the Spaten.

Both of these you can get as a 600ml bottle in the bars/restaurants for usually a very acceptable £2

I would always pop in here for a couple after a midweek home game, they close at 12.

Been up London this evening and got to say can’t wait to get back to Thanet <doh> it’s a fuking **** hole up London - thought I was in a third world country!
Very sad to see.

I get the impression Manchester is a toilet nowadays as well.

Anyone have an absolute belter of a scotch they recommend ? Price no problem.

Glenfiddich is my preference.
Not cheap, but not the most expensive either. And available in most outlets.
To be honest though, most single malts in the Glenfiddich price range will be perfectly drinkable.
Some will be a little more fiery (warming) than others, but I cannot claim to have tried a wide variety.

Yes i have come around to liking Glenfiddich as one of the best. I dont drink alot, just thought id see if their was some absolute must haves by someone else who appreciates the fine stuff. The 12yo Glenfiddich which is just a tad above the standard wasn't overly warm and was pleasant.
