Hmmm. You said that about Wait Until Spring, Baldini too iirc. Decent read but wasn't the masterpiece you made it out to be.
Infact luv you're recommendations are quite often questionable thinking about it. Pretty sure you still owe me a quid fifty for a chocolate bar you told me I should buy. ****ed if I remember what it was mind.
I think your best choices should always be questionable otherwise we all end up like ****ers. You might not like everything but now and then you'll find something brilliant other than more of the mundane.
I'm a ****ing nightmare with books tbh. Read anywhere between 2-6 a month but I've recently got into a habit of buying **** loads thinking I need them but end up forgetting about half of them. Means I have too much choice and end up slacking for a few days. Got about 12 unread at the minute and no idea which to pick up.
Suppose, I think Howard Marx is the Plato of the valleys though. "A dealer is really just someone who buys more dope than he can smoke."
Possibly, but just bought that last Winslow book from Amazon and have also got a Denis Lehane book I never got into to take. And my son has To Kill a Mocking Bird in his Lit GCSE next year, so will have to read that again. *because he ****ing won't
