Sure Ive mentioned before Im a big Stephen Stills fan, although he was obviously massive at the time - on his own and with CSN etc - his legacy seems to be underrated and a bit lost now
I know I'm sure we have spoken about it before. Manassas is a phenomenally good album. What a backing band. I actually think it's the best thing he ever did in his entire career. I bought it for about three quid in Listen when I was about fifteen (a long time ago now). I only bought it as I had just discovered Neil Young. Unfortunately I lost about 200 albums when my flat was broken into years back and I lost all my Stills vinyl.
I've lost the plot recently and started buying stuff on vinyl once again. Have bought about five albums in the last month. I was going to get Manassas again, but it's extortionate (thirty quid on Amazon for a new one). I'll see if I can get a second hand one.
People will appreciate him again one day Rogue.
