A wee Scottish band when they wanted to be The Undertones rather than Madchester boss man sorted <ok>

Can we have like the real engineer now?

I ve also got their version of Silent Night, I thought that was rather good to. Also their album in bright blue vinyl, they had a real thing about coloured vinyl those guys.

I had that too. The B side was a Paul Simon song if I remember. I really didn't like it and actually smashed the single up. I thought it was quite a punk thing to do at the time as I thought they were the face of manufactured punk<yikes> I think I still have it in it's sleeve to this day. I'm going to look for it and for once try and prove this ridiculous story is true.

Ya beauty I still had it. I took a photo on top of yesterdays Daily ****** to prove its veracity. I can't believe I have kept a broken single for about 35 years! I will be appearing on a TV show near you soon about ancient hoarders.

The Dickies is fairly benign compared to when I bought Nick Lowe's, I love the sound of breaking glass and threw my old dears bedroom louvers into my neighbour's garden. This one ended badly as they landed on her sons rabbit hutch and covered the little bunny in shards of glass.

We took our music seriously in the old days.

The aforementioned Nick Lowe single. I still thinks it's a good tune.

They did like coloured vinyl, didn't they.
Eve of Destruction was Pink, I'm sure,

There doing a short tour over here in August, wouldn't mind going. <laugh>

I did the same to The Rezillos - Top of the Pops, although I might have been pissed at the time, I'm sure I've still got it in the loft.

This is quite encouraging actually. We should set up a breaking vinyl group I bet Dev did it too with his Rush albums.
