Very disappointing, not 1 shot on target is dire. We seriously need to sort out our defending and closing people down. Hopefully we get some players in and our missing players get back rapidly. Amos not in squad either and becoming a real concern the amount of injuries he gets. Paal looked a bit overawed today and saw the Dutch left back Burnley have got on loan from Chelsea, looks a superb player.
There's just no dynamism in that midfield 3, Field protects well but the other 2 just offer nothing. Steff unfortunately looks past his best and Dozzell just flatters to decieve. Richards has to start along with another and Field. Ideally Amos would be fit and can fill the other spot. We desperately need a goalscorer and Willock fit aswell as Roberts. Kakay was our best player again !

No surprise really, a lukewarm pre-season, little transfer activity and key players injured. We finished last season in a slump and no magic wand is going to make us top six without some quality additions...
Whether it was the 1st, 10th or last game is irrelevant to me. Not mustering a single shot on target is simply not playing the game right. I watched the 2nd half and it was quite pathetic really. I couldn't believe I was watching some of the same players from last season and even then, I was raging about them! The simple idea of football is to score goals. If you can't shoot on target then the game has bypassed you totally. Granted we had one or two missing but when Thomas is one of your first substitutions, you know things are bad.
