TBF Martin has managed to do something incredible: get us all pining for Ryan Manning. He's so insistent on turning Stephens into John Stones he's failed to notice the total imbalance in the side.

Stop trying to be the Scottish Guardiola, stop over complicating things and stop forcing Stephens into the team.

I wonder who wins in a clever-off between him and Rasmus.

Couldn’t agree more. I had a great view from the upper stand today and the shape of the team looked dreadful. The lack of a left back stood out like a sore thumb. Stephens continually dropping into CM which was giving less options of playing out from the back. When he did get the ball there he hasn’t got the pace to influence anything. So bloody strange.
And I hardly noticed Rothwell in the whole game until he was subbed off. He’s a sub not a starter. And what has happened to Brooks? Was supposed to be a game changer. And my final moan, Armstrong as the front man does not work, he has been phenomenal on the right this season, so bloody well play him there. The old saying square pegs for round holes comes to mind with Martin at the moment.

That freekick was an absolute joke

Sorry if discussed already, just got into our hotel room, that free kick with about 35secs of extra time to go sums up the pathetic way we are playing at present.

Probably the last kick of the game and a chance to properly test their defence so what do we do we pretend we are going to cross into the area but turn and play a sideways pass away from their goal to a player under pressure who promptly loses the ball which is hoofed away towards Baz!

Jeez it was ******* unbelievable what the hell is the matter with Martin? Other teams must piss themselves laughing when watching videos of how we play now! Never seen anything so ******* rediculous! Grrrr.

Went on the SEE Walls / Valves tour this afternoon. Wasn’t really following any scores as autos went long time ago (Monday death) but for some luckily reason couldn’t get a signal. Decided to go on a pub tour thereafter. Titanic, Red Lion, Duke, 5 Rivers, Hobbit, Gordon …. and somewhere along the route saw Leeds losing, Ipswich lost (without scoring!), Leicester drawing at time ….. & Saints 0. OMFG. And @StJabbo1 who berates us “moaners”! Hahaha. Yes, had a few sherberts. The vaults were really good. Highly recommended. Edit: will be there Tuesday & Sat signing my positive heart out for SFC regardless who is owner, manager, players.

Didn't see yesterday but not surprised at all that it turned out to be drab affair. Season essentially over in terms of stuff to play for (for now at least) and that's always going to affect the players.

Buzzing for the play offs. Plenty of time to get back into form by then.

Yep, same. Every so often you get games like yesterday. Not going to read too much into it. Think a lot of the players will be trying to avoid getting injured now as the playoffs are only a month away, so effort will likely drop off from some. It would be a good time to try out the youngsters as we should know our best eleven by now if everyone is fit. Also, the likes of Charles need some game time. And we should experiment with Sulemana through the middle.

I wouldn't be trying out the youngsters. But I definitely agree about Charles and Sulemana. Try and see whether there's something better which might work (whether that's tactical or personnel), whilst also creating some doubt in the mind of our play-off opponents as to how we might set up.

Trying out thigs which we already know don't work, such as Adam through the middle or Smallbone as an impact sub, just seems pointless.

I’m just grateful that we have a cushion of almost being certain of playoffs!!
