Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood joins Geoff Shreeves to talk Spurs on The Debate on Thursday. Watch live from 10pm on Sky Sports Premier League.

Only 3hrs 44 minutes to go! <diva>

I would rather watch a 36 hour documentary on the Kardashians on a loop until my brain dribbles out my ears and down my nose than listen to a single word that cock of a man has about anything...let alone spurs

Tottenham bit is on now. I've had to hide any throw-able objects as it's about whether we'll keep players(original!).

Wasn't even bad in the end. Upson in particular made some good points, despite being ex-scum x2. Loads of praise, none of this "if Madrid call, the player will go" bollocks.

Don't know if this is better in the politics or hack section, but anyway I heard in the last day or two on TalkShite a story something like "Peter Beardsley has failed to prove his innocence so is going to be investigated..." (for alleged bullying / racism). And that seems to be the modern enlightened way isn't it - abandon the principle of innocent until proven guilty - if you are accused of certain things. Let's hope none of us are innocent and accused of such things. I guess witchcraft is alive an well in every age, by which I mean something where is simply assumed. It's also the modern way of undermining someone's character, because guilty or not such an accusation will never really go away. These are of course uncomfortable things to talk about because nobody dare mention there might be a problem for fear of being accused of supporting the general thing people are being accused of. Like I said, "she's a witch, burn her..."

You can't get to guilty beyond reasonable doubt until there is an investigation. Just being accused of these things means an investigation has to take place, surely. The fact that they gave him an opportunity to refute ahead of the investigation seems too much in his favour to me. No one is calling him guilty until/unless he is shown to be, but you have to look into it.
