Shane Long is a handy player don't get me wrong, but £7m and £50k p/w handy? Not even close.

As above, happy to sign Long, but not happy to overpay by double, we've been royally ripped off by the baggies and the man himself for that outlay. Silly money.

£3.5m and £25k p/w is what he's worth and I'd have been very happy with that.

And you believe these figures?

Can't understand why City don't consult you before they make these sudden rash signings.

Exactly right, everyone is too paranoid about the what ifs, just enjoy the moment, get excited. If we get relegated we deal with that, but that's looking very unlikely now. You could sit there at a club like Man City and mope about every signing 'in the off chance we get relegated' but where's the fun in that?

Besides, so many on here have made the point they don't care what division we're in, so who cares?[/QUOTE]

Exactly

But is there any proof of the wage?

Also, Long's wife:

Gregg @gregg_rm
@hullcityteam congratulations on acquiring the hottest wife in English football, @KayleahLong

Kayleah long @KayleahLong
@gregg_rm ah bless u thanks x

Seems as though she's given him the green light.

Who, Gregg?

Even if Jelavic and Long are on big wages, who else in our squad will be? Huddlestone will be, Aluko maybe not far behind, who else? Rosenior, Mcgregor, Elmo, Brady, Davies, Chester, Sagbo, Boyd, Fryatt, Bruce, Macca, Meyler, Quinn, Faye, I doubt any of those are on much higher than 20k a week? Infact I bet most of those are on 15k and under.
