I was born at Bev's maternity hospital.

No idea why. We lived on Anlaby Rd at the time.

However, for this reason, Bev is the home of greatness and should be revered as such.

Beverley is great for pubs, but the nightclubs are ****e, Beaver is full of mouth breathers and that Cabana is ****. I only drink in the Foresters these days. My old local. £1.99 a pint on Fridays.

I think a Tiger is a cracking little boozer. There are some lovely places to eat and drink in Beverley but it’s no shock to see the same sad, bitter individuals knocking it.

I was born in the Westwood Maternity Hospital anarl.

I know why though.

I wanted to be near me mother who was staying there at the time.

Did the first year of my apprenticeship at Armstrong Patents, next to the station. Press room that stamped out shock absorber cases was the noisiest place I've ever been in. All the women who worked there ended up stone deaf. They mouthed to each other ask day long, lip reading what each other was saying.

They scared the living daylights out of me.

No but there’s a Spoons.

Every single time I’ve been drinking in Beverley the threat of violence has been palpable. There always seems to be loads of squaddie-types itching for it, and it’s kicked off several times a night, every time.

Is it always like that or is it a coincidence that when I’m there, people get angry?
You clearly only go on Ladies Day.

Disappointed this isn’t a thread about Bev Callard. I was looking forward to some saucy pics & a quick one off the wrist whilst my sausages cooked.

I had a few beers in Beverley last month before heading out on a coach trip. I managed to walk 8000+ steps, after the coach dropped me off in the town centre around half past midnight. Found the hotel about half 3.

They could do with a few signposts to help pissed up visitors get into bed.

I had a similar issue finding a late-night place once (Parkers?). Just seemed to be walking on country lanes for ages.

Just seen another lovely Bev on the telly on a fishing programme.
Bev Clifford is her name and from her accent she must be from Hull. Particularly her pronunciation of home (herrmm)
Does anyone know anything about her.
