It's affluent and pretty, but has become over developed and a bit Hugh Grant.

i would def live in beverley, shame the internet's crap there

i'm a big fan of Beverley. It's just a bit more of a PITA getting onto the motorway network which ruled it out for me.

I used to love living in Beverley and really didn't want to move out, but I'd spent ages unsuccessfully trying to find a place on North Bar Without/New Walk and an opportunity came up to develop a derelict building elsewhere, which was too good to turn down.

And it's better now than it was then.

I find it very Ewan McGregor. :emoticon-0112-wonde

I don’t think you’ll find many Hugh Grant types on Swinemoor estate. There’s an affluent bit like there is in most towns. There’s also **** bits. I just moved to Cottingham from Beverley and I miss it. Brough is overdeveloped and a bit ****, maybe thats what you were thinking of?

It's a far nicer place than Brid...
Was in Brid last Tuesday, thought I'd time travelled back to 1970. Went in one of the more plusher cafes on the deserted and boarded up promenade and there were more dogs in the place then people. Spa's nice and erm.........
