You can then go on a mini pub crawl. Leopard (it has just won Norwich CAMRA Pub of the year) Artichoke and finish at the Fat Cat Brewery Tap. Get the bus back into the City Centre and the bus/train back to Wymondham!! #jobdone

Joining one of the guys from Norwich CAMRA on his birthday pub crawl and he's planning on visiting these pubs - Cottage (Silver Road) Leopard Wig and Pen Brewdog Toby's Belgian Monk Vine St Andrew's Brewhouse Ribs King's Head I expect some people will aim to get to quite a few of them. repeat!! I'm aiming to do a couple of the early ones, as meeting Dave and Gandy later to watch the Boro V Norwich game.
Looking forward to trying this - https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/the-norfolk-brewhouse-launches-new-norwich-city-ale-up-up-up-1-5995573. Not saying I'll like it though. Bruce sits behind me in the River End!!
I had a Pineapple Milkshake IPA yesterday. Mad! I wouldn't have it again, but you could taste the pineapple milkshake flavours. Bit of fun.

Thursday brings the latest installment of City of Ale. Only 43 pubs this year, so fairly relaxed 2 day half pint pilgrimage around the lot on the bank holiday weekend. We'll be the ones In the Hawaiian shirts! I'm sure I should know better by now....oh well. Bah!
Thanks for posting GM. I might see you around, but I won't be visiting many myself. Edit - the Garden House has been 'rebranded' by EI and rebranded as a 'Craft Union' pub (also owned by EI), so I wss looking forward to trying it last night. I saw no evidence of ANY craft beers, so won't be going there again!!!
Bit of an outlier so I haven't been before, so looking forward to giving the Redwell brewery a look Bah!
If you or any of your party are 'not of a certain age' and so entitled to free bus travel, I suggest getting an 'all day' ticket @ £4.80 each or if there are five of you, ask about a 'high five' ticket. If any of your group are coming by train, there's an option to add bus travel for approx £3 per day. For the Redwell Brewery, get the X22 from the bus station and get off just after the County Hall roundabout.
43 pubs with only drinking halves in two days wouldn't be a challenge without the walking inbetween. Walking it means that after 11 or so hours drinking we are generally still standing. I think the most we did in one day was 27 of the pubs. Add in a couple of pints on Cobra at the curry house and a respectable session. I think the smart watch died at around 8 miles of walking one year. I do like a good walk and a good drink, so combining the two is a winner for me. Bah!
