Sounds good apart from the vegan one. Might be tasty, but but as soon as you stick vegan in the name it sounds as angry as green party person at a McDonald's littered council estate

    Bah!

Hope it's ok to try the vegan one even if not a green party member in said council estate? <ok>

Of course, but why the need to state VEGAN! Tell us what it is, is it a tasty combination of carrots, broccoli and sugar snap peas, or VEGAN!

    Bah!

Possibly to assure vegans that it's, well, vegan. Don't know why carnivores get so het up about it.

Had a lovely pub crawl of pubs we haven't been to before for my Birthday last weekend.

Coach & Horses - Loved it, Fantastic.
The Jubilee - Nice, if your outside.
William IV Inn - Scummy little place. Got out quick.
Lollards Pit Pub - Nice Ale selection, nice outside area. Liked it.
The Adam & Eve - Interesting old pub, nice Ale selection, Not 100% sure on the hype. Tight and dingy inside, outside is on a road looking at a car park.
Wig N Pen - Great Selection, nice outside area. Been to this one before.

Was a sunny Saturday afternoon, perfect beer garden weather!

    Interesting community FML.
Coach & Horses - not a fan of CHB ales and often poor selection of Guest Ales.
    Jubilee - agreed.
Ditto re William IV - methinks it will be a building site in a couple of years.
    Lollards Pit - not been
Adam and Eve - can't stand the place and usually poor Ale selection.
Wig and Pen - one of my favourite pubs and I know the manager.

A friend of mine goes to meet someone there once a week and informs me they have a new 'double IPA' at 7.5% which is supposedly "delicious"?

Made it to the Fat Cat on Friday, after about a year of saying that I would. Had the posh doner and chips - very good!

I know that I'm an elderly old git but I really don't understand all this poncing about with food.

Sunday dinner should be roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, peas and carrots with proper gravy, not jus.

Weekday meals should be plain and simple, something like fish, chips and mushy peas or bangers and mash.

That would cut the household food bills in half!

    BAH!!!!

Can't wait to try them. Been on my to do list for a long while.

That company, and...what's the other one that is linked to Redwell and the cocktail place that is opposite the Glasshouse. Chip Bucket or something?

Haha! That is a good point about the food bill. We do cook some poncey stuff at home! Never really think of just doing sausages and some mash!

Although tonight. I'm doing steak on the BBQ, Crispy sliced Potatoes, peppercorn sauce and frozen battered onion rings. Surely that's within your spec? :emoticon-0105-wink:

Got both. As they are just 2 little steaks, they will be on the coals tonight.
