Carduac arrest , cause linked to damaged brain tissue detatchment . She was due to undergo further surgery soon .

So the cardiac arrest was a direct result of her earlier accident where she lost her eye.

It gets more tragic. Unbeknownst to her, she was on a death sentence that could be called in at any time. I hope she knew nothing of what was happening to her. I would hate to think she died in fear. Mind you, I'd hate to think that of anybody.

I swear every time I come on here there's a new story about a motorsport death.

Here's more tragic news. Adrian Peterson, one of the absolute biggest names in the NFL, has a two year old son, who was beaten to near death by the partner of the child's mother. Deadspin say he's still unlikely to survive. http://deadsp.in/wxZKZsX

Police have confirmed that AP's son has died. Shocking news.

The scumbag who did that better go down for murder.

Edit - if he gets convicted of first degree murder he may well get the death penalty. You would assume beating a 2 year old child to death classifies as "aggravating circumstances".

Doubt he gets the death penalty in trial, but unless he spends the next 20-30 years in protective custody, there's a decent chance that he'll get it extrajudicially.

Could he? Didn't think they had a death penalty statute in Minnesota.

It's disgusting. Obviously I hope he doesn't get the death penalty but he better go down for a long, long time.

Well I just looked up the law for South Dakota and if he doesn't make a deal with the DA's office, he could be given the death penalty. Assuming he is charged with murder of course. He was originally charged with aggravated assault.

Just realised AP wasn't with the mother, my bad.

Yeah, but you're probably again looking at second-degree murder, because it'd be rather difficult to prove premeditation.
