Crikey, I don't remember that..??? Mind you, it was shown on CH4 so every time I accidentally changed to a commercial station, there was probably an advert, so I'd immediately change to somewhere where there wasn't an advert. You can see that means you end up watching the Beeb only. Missed a lot of Enterprise episodes that way. This was still back in the time when I'd turn my TV on regularly, too. These last few years it doesn't go on for weeks. It hasn't been on since Sunday night, and then two weeks before that. I can guarantee that too because I now pretty much only turn it on to watch MotoGP.

You might have heard this already but I read on Twitter that Falcao has joined Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Kurt Cobain as stars never to see 28.

I did a very silly thing 5 minutes ago. I took a desert spoon and pushed it into a huge pot of Chocolate and Hazelnut spread, turned it around to disconnect the ovoid shape of chocolate from the pot, removed it and stuck the whole spoonful into my mouth. Now I'm not one to do these almost primeval things with food, and I prefer savoury every time over sweet, but that was utterly lovely. Trouble is, I'm wide awake again..! :)

I'm certainly not above eating Nutella straight from the jar from time to time.

I also did a silly thing 5 or so minutes ago. I watched a video of a girl getting attacked by a shark in Brazil. It was worse than I expected it to be. Do not recommend.

If you are clever enough, just reach over and press the on/off switch to off, if you are not clever enough, get someone to do it for you, peace will reign in the your existence, until boredom gets the better of you.

Absolutely. I think you have enough good will from people on here to just say "can you check out my new x/y/z" and we'll happily do it, rather than sneaking them in. Don't want you going down the "How important is Schneiderlin" guy's route!

Just genuinely found the comments interesting. Seen some saying, good to have a character. Other saying it's unprofessional of a club owner to publicly accuse another football club of being on drugs.

Incidentally, that article features my favourite photo/caption yet.

I can't see NC ever, ever, ever saying something like that, admittedly, but it is quite an entertaining comment. I don't have a problem with him coming up with that - as you say, it does indicate some personality. However, stony, Don-like silence also indicates a personality. Just a more threatening one!

On what level did you think it wouldn't be bad? Have to say 'whale nearly eats divers' was entertaining...as the 'nearly' told me it wouldn't be unpleasant. Couple of divers swimming to boat when two massive whales came right up below them with their mouths wide open. I know in theory they couldn't eat them, but who'd want to test that!! bet they needed to clean their wetsuits.

Personally I think it's more likely Liverpool are on the drugs for thinking they are going to keep him, he clearly wants to leave, and having him knocking about the place feeling he has had his chance of leaving blocked after what is clearly a pretty reasonable offer is going to be interesting so say the least. He may even bite the chairman.
