Couple of divers swimming to boat when two massive whales came right up below them with their mouths wide open. Yeah the whale one was basically what linked me to this. It was a clip from a Brazilian news show so I thought it couldn't be that bad, and I thought that generally sharks kill very few people and it tends to just be that they get wounded a bit. But no, this one bit most of her leg off and she died from blood loss.

It's not the goriest thing you'll ever see, but the sea turns red like in Jaws when she gets bitten, and when they show closeups at the end they blur her legs but you can still see pretty well how much damage has been done, and you can see clearly that she's turning pale and is on the way out. Not pleasant.

Just seen some of the Sunderland v Spurs game being played at the moment in absolutely horrific conditions. Reminds me of the time the referee was wandering about the pitch trying to bounce the ball in Poland. Vertonghen has just got stretchered off with a nasty looking ankle injury.
