Neymar to Barca a done deal according to Tancredi, he will arrive after the Confed Cup. Just what Barca need another forward......

They'll probably play him wide. Sanchez and Pedro have been pretty average and might be moved on. I can definitely see Neymar being a bit of an anticlimax because the hype surrounding him is totally over the top, but he should do a decent job for Barca.

They should spend the cash on a new defence, convert Alves into a winger and buy a rb that can actually defend.

Strange seeing Le Tiss playing in a shirt that isn't red and white. Still, at least Guernsey don't play in blue. :)

Just seen on Sky the footbonaut used by the Germans. Player stands in a centre circle in the room and balls come in from the side at random and the player must collect the ball and kick it into a target slot. A computer keeps score. A bit like a cricket bowling machine. I can see how it improves ball control.

And the guy said some English clubs have shown interest in it. Could be us.

Worcestershire now 145/5. Hants made 500/9. Good stuff from Hants. They still haven't been bowled out this season.

I have a Chelsea shirt, which I have worn indoors. It was given to me by my Mum, about 3 years ago, when her old age memory problems were just kicking in at 95. Incidentally, she's just coming out of hospital at 98, after going through this last spate of viruses that has taken everyone down [including me at one point]. Thankfully, she's OK and looking forward to going home.

But why did she give me a Chelsea shirt..? Long story, made short - Aged 11 I wanted a Saints kit [late 1969-70]. Parents couldn't get one or make one so Mum asked me if I would accept any other kit. Hero at the time was Peter Osgood, so she stitched me a Chelsea kit and the rest is history. People who are familiar with the story will know that I took it on holiday to Italy and played football almost every day with the locals who thereafter referred to me as Charlie Cooke for the number 11 on my shirt and shorts. Mum couldn't stitch a 9. :)

Nice story - Charlie Cooke was an Aberdeen legend almost 50 years ago. Then he went to Dundee - bah!

Yeah, impressive stuff from Hants...makes a change to have a strong start to the season.
What's happened to Dimi and Macca, Tom... IPL, injured or just not selected?

Dimi's at the IPL, who's Macca? Oh if you mean Mckenzie he's joining up with Hants later in the season.

Difficult to see how they would fit in the side atm...the batsmen are all in form and the bowlers are taking wickets. Maybe Macca in for Dawson and Dimi in for Balcombe, what's your strongest team for the 4 day matches?

When and where?!

(Where in terms of what channel, not where geographically)

Starts at about 1, will probably finish 4-ish. It's on Sky, I think, but hosted by Kevin Cadle and Neil Reynolds, so I'd rather sandpaper my bollocks than listen to those idiots talk about things they don't understand.

If you do it gently it feels really good.

...what?
