    I am severely pissed off.

The FA once again show that they are completely biased towards the North and London in their allocation of teams for the expanded WSL.

Portsmouth did get a place but but Durham did, who play in the north east regional league northern divsion because that's clearly going to help the development of women's football , putting a team in about four divisions lower than the other teams. How can that not result in competitive football without 8-0 drubbings, plus which Football League team is going to back them? Sunderland? Doubt that as they already have a team.

Durham don't have a website, they're bottom of their league having lost 14 games and won just 2 games all season including a friggin' WALK OVER just a few months ago. Their Facebook page has 4 likes, their Twitter page has only been posted on TWICE in the last year and if they do get any financial backing from the men's team, they'd get backing from a friggin' Northern League Premier Division club which means they also don't have much of a potential fan base and yet they're a more credible choice than Portsmouth? What the actual ****?!

Looking at the teams selected, there's such a clear London/Northern bias. Of the 18 teams, four!! are in the south with just one below the M4 and none are on the south coast, what a joke. But as we all know there's no such thing as proper football down south and outside of London. Durham City Ffs!

Someone reply to my rant? :( I'm seriously pissed off and no-one's replied to my rant on the Portsmouth forum and a reply my help reduce my pissed off levels.

(Plus, you know the northern bias is real, just think about the lack of credit Southampton get.....)

Nothing to add really PL, it's clearly sounds a bit of a farce but nothing that I don't expect from the FA.

(Nice try baiting your hook with the glory of Southampton Football Club. But I don't think anyone here is interested in them...)

I'm tempted to write a strongly worded e-mail to the FA, it's such a disgrace. It's all down to money and **** like that. I mean take Man City for example, why are they going straight into the top division while Doncaster are going down? I've seen Man City play against Pompey and they were nothing special and they've lost against us twice. Oh, could it because they have lots of money and paid the FA lots? And why are Doncaster going down? Surely it should be Liverpool as they've finished bottom the last two season? Oh wait, I know why! It's because they're a 'big club', one of the 'big four' (ignoring the fact that Liverpool haven't finished top 4 in a while), so of course 'little old Donny' get booted down instead. It sounds like women's football is losing that which made it different to men's football, i.e. the fact that it wasn't corrupt and it wasn't quite so focused on the big teams and lacking the biases which peculate through the men's game, as I've felt a northern/london bias has existed for ages.
