I have a good memory for facts but a truly terrible memory for names. I tend to lump names into groups...I will know that someone is in the Anne/Margaret/Sandra group or in the Gina/Jessica/Louise group. I have worked with people for ten years and, despite them knowing my name, I am careful never to name them. di Canio and Poyet are in the short foreigner group.

Tbf, I'm a bit like that myself. Great remembering numbers, but people's names..?

Absolutely 100% true story here; a person rings me up occasionally, asking me to help him with his computer. He knows all about me and says, Hi Andy, Leo here, with all the familiarity and friendliness in the World. And I can't remember who he is, but I haven't the guts to embarrass him or me by asking him. He texted me about two weeks ago and I ignored it because I dread that he'll find out I can't remember him. As far as I'm concerned, I don't know anyone called Leo. LeGod, I hope he's not on here..! <doh>

I meet people regularly that are the parents of my son's friends. I have no recollection of their names or who their child is. I usually ask them how the family is and then desperately trawl their answers for clues.

Yeah, same here in those situations, but what do I do with this guy..? One of my brother's has his second name as Leo, and he's a grand parent, so naturally I asked him and he said he had no idea. I'm sunk..!

**** think I'm going to be sick, what the **** is that thing.

I hope you all possess mirrors...men always overestimate their attractiveness, whereas girls usually underestimate it. All things being equal, most people end up with a person of about the same attractiveness as themselves. Power and money can alter that dynamic.

If you looked like that, you'd at least, you know, try a little bit. She doesn't look like she's washed her hair.
