But perhaps, one more go, then see what she says. If she sounds apologetic and says she's busy, then I could perhaps wait until she has finished uni, as she might be genuinely too busy to meet up, and after all, even last time she did say it would be lovely to meet up. If she still says no, then it'd be clear that she's not interested.... Does that sound reasonable? (though I wish if she wasn't interested, she'd say it, but in a nice way, as surely she can tell I'm interested in her....)

Or if you ask her and she says she's too busy give her your number or something, She will get in touch if she really wants to . There's no point in keep hoping she may say something different if you ask here again, if anything it is more likely to make her back away more.

Tbh, with a few of my close friends, you have to keep poking them if you want to meet up. They'll say something like "Yeah, let's meet up soon!" but if I'm not the proactive one, nothing seems to get done. Could be the same with her.

In fairness, that's with friends. If it's a romantic meeting, you'd be proactive.

I hate 'courting' girls, if I ever split up with my current girlfriend I accept the fact I will probably be single forever.

Agreed. My last meeting up with a friend involved potential romance, so somehow I became proactive where I wouldn't normally be.

Oh yeah, to me it's a dark art, and anyone who masters it is some sort of wizard.

It seems to be so easy for people I know to get a girlfriend/boyfriend without even trying. Personally, I think it's ridiculously difficult and anyone who succeeds deserves a friggin' medal.

Yeah but there's a difference in being proactive and being seen as pushy. How many times have you asked her?, if you don't mind me asking.

Easiest way to get a girl is peacocking and never be afraid of rejection.

Have to say that if she was interested she wouldn't be too busy. Sounds like she sees you as a friend.

I know what you mean. Some people have a much more "confident" charm about them, although a lot of these guys tend to be quite dickheadish. There are some I know who have girlfriends, or have had them, who I personally find very offputting.

Peacock doesn't have to be anything big, could just be a bright tshirt/top. Basically anything that makes you stand out from thevrest.

Best to be yourself (as long as you are not a total prat)...if you attract someone by pretence, you will never keep it up. (Can't even be bothered to sort out that double entendre<laugh>).
