Funny how the BBC have designated the headline / result of today's Utd loss as 'local news' rather than have it under the sport side of their homepage

Got lucky with the 3rd goal (although I guess you'd say you used the loophole in the offside rule) but other than that deserves win.
Like I said earlier, United tried playing football and failed miserably. Had they tried to go long to Fellaini like they had done the last 2 months, could have been different game.
That was a one off week as I'm sure you know.

Gerrard again

Sorry to rub it in but, as you can see from the graphic above, Manchester United have been pretty prolific since Liverpool's last title win - 25 years ago today.
Having said that, of the 20 teams in the top flight that season, there are eight not in the Premier League now.
Luton are languishing in League Two, while a few others are in League One.
It could be worse Reds...
2 of those titles were the first divison tooYeah that chart totally shows the PL is more competitive than La Liga2 of those titles were the first divison too
Impossible, football didn't exist before the PL!

Nothing to do with how **** we were like the word competitive and the word quality are not one and the same
I'm sure league 2 is competitive too. The CL shows the standard of english prem.

bigger fishie gulped it down.
The quality is spain is confined IMO to the top as at the top they have huge money from TV and getafe have to live on scraps
550 mil per year in spain. real and barca take 220mil... thats leaves the rest to be shared out by in accordance with their draw.
getafe in 2013/14 got 18mil.
18.....
last year cardiff finihsed 20th that got 21mil EQUAL share, then 8.6 mil on facility fees (matches hosted) then 1.6 mil in prize for last place
they took 26mil in forigen tv moeny too...
http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/...-league-broadcasting-commercial-payments.html
the fact is LFC took 97mil for 2nd and cardiff in 20th got 62million pounds
62......
this moeny doesn't tkae the english league better just more players get more money for the same standard.
Getafe even trying to compete with barca is pointless but no more pointless than man city, man utd, arsenal or chelsea competing with barca in terms of quality
I am well and truly done with trying to make people see the PL being a more competitive league is a myth All true, but my whole point on that anyway was that given such disparity Spanish clubs still compete better on the whole in La Liga and in Europe
So if the cash was spread more even in La Liga, Barca and Real would still be supreme, but the rest of the spanish league would be even MORE competitive in terms of spead of success.
But I am sorry I tried ot bait Biscan nowI am well and truly done with trying to make people see the PL being a more competitive league is a myth

oh i forgot to say.. the reason they take it seriously is the 10 mil approx they can get out of europa actually was worth it to them.
where as most players in Spain are Spanish.
