Marseille need to sell and their owner said last week a loan deal is of no benefit to them. If its a loan we're after then there is no deal possible. So I'm not sure how accurate these reports are.
Surely it would benefit them if we were paying his wages during the loan, as they're on their uppers!!?
We couldn't afford Hoillett? We refused to pay over the top, we got a better player in Johnson for LESS (wages wise). We could easily pay for Hoillett, but why would anyone pay 70k a week to a player who is good, not great? ****ing hell, good lads on this board, but every board has one, and I managed to find him the first time I post here? I think you'll be alright with Hughes to be honest, sit tight for a few weeks while he beds players in, he'll be looking to change style a bit as well, but he'll do alright I reckon. If you put a quality CB with good communication next to Anton, Anton becomes excellent, and with JH, Taarabt & Cisse, you'll have enough going forward. Hughes will do well, long term, for you, I have no doubt.
