Has anyone thought to ask NB why he isn't saying anything? Perhaps he is at home considering the reasons that he has been 'suspended', not fired, suspended. Perhaps it is more than a few words about transfers. Or can Sir Nick do no wrong? Perhaps we should await more 'official' comment.

When a new owner comes in to save a club from administration, then pumps in over £50M of their own money, then spends time going through the accounts and every aspect of running the club that was practically bankrupt..... you would expect them to break a few eggs when making a new omelette. Hull City was going into administration. Now they are financially stable and rebuilding. Just don't expect everything to be smooth. You will never know what gets unearthed with a root and branch makeover - and most will be dealt with quietly in the background. But you can expect the owners to make changes as it happens and they won't all be popular. They will likely all be necessary though.

And if Nick either goes or gets demoted to assistant and Mick McCarthy was then appointed manager. Would that change anyone's perceptions?

BTW It's the standard procedure for any manager sacked or suspended to say nothing when legal proceedings are possible.
Also Nick Barmby was and still is a legend to most City supporters and he deserves more respect than your sarcastic "Sir Nick" label.

I admire you for wanting to give the Allams the benefit of the doubt but I think your faith is misplaced. Whatever the truth is they have got everything horribly wrong because they have alienated the people who matter the most in a football club, the fans. Their actions are at least naive but whatever, they are the ones with £50m tied up in a club whose gates next season might not cover costs. At this point I would say their best course of action is to tie one of their own engines to their a*ses, jump in the Humber and start the engine.

Talking with Burnsy outside the KC prior to the OSC night (which was partially ruined by the way) and later seeing his bit on Look North its The Allams who are out on there own here.

The fact that all 4 parties now involved are saying nothing official leads me to conclude that there is alot more going on behind the scenes. The 9am - noon Burnsy show is covering this story on tuesday. Listening figures should be well up.

I totally agree with this, for me he's done a very average bordering on poor job as manager. But if they'd come out and said this and it was for footballing reasons we'd have swallowed it better rather than the cloak and dagger stuff.

It's the respect he has from the players that's the big problem. They all seem to love him and I really, really worry about our best players leaving if they have no manager to play for. Turning down offers from Leicester is easy if the player doesn't want to go but if they want out it gets a lot harder. Rosenior seemed as devestated as the rest of us last night. We might not have had amazing resuts since he took over but without any money made available what was he supposed to do? We somehow managed to dodge a bullet when NP left by promoting NB and keeping the players together. Two good managers have been forced out the door by the Allam's now and we're running out of football people left at the club.

Actually I meant no disrespect to Nick. That was more pointed at those who view people through rose-tinted glasses. Everyone is fallible and human. Even legends are just people who have done great things. I wish him only well regardless of the outcome - which perhaps nobody will see coming until it is here.

I think things are going to worse before they get better too, as each hour passes I'm hearing about more and more ridiculous things our owners have done and I'm now expecting us to lose several key players in the coming weeks. This is simply a car crash, I thank the Allam's for saving the club, but it doesn't prevent me from also saying they haven't got a ****ing clue what they're doing and they are behaving like a pair of ****s.

Talking of losing players, I heard a rumour a couple of weeks ago that Chester has agreed a deal with a Premier League side. I didnt mention it because I thought/hoped it would be a load of bollocks. My dads best mates brother is Jack Hobbs Godfather and this has come from Jack. I was hoping it was wrong but now I'm not so sure!

So, considering that you've defended the Allams at every opportunity you have ever had (prior to yesterday), are you admitting you were wrong? BTW I'm not being arsey and smug here - I appreciate it could read like that - I'm interested if your opinion has flipped 360 degrees in the space of 24 hours.
