Yeah, almost 200 goals, what a ****er...
Possibly 'too many postings', Taylor.......

To those who don't, are you basically implying that we should all sit down with big grins on our faces because someone has done an incredible gesture and gave us £41 million pounds and we should never question their intent, their motives, their actions because after all "they saved us" .
Isn't that how drug lords operate?
"we saved your arse so you shut the hell up while we do whatever the **** we want?"
I'm not comparing the Allams to drug lords before anyone says anything, I'm simply pointing to the fact that this "you can't say anything bad against them because they saved us" act is not going to last long with some of us if they keep making crazy decisions.

I am not anti-allam but please for the love of god keep an eye half open on what they're up to. I don't dislike them but I'm sick of hearing "they saved us"... What happened to Nicky should show clearly that they can just as well bury us at any given time for some silly reason... DOn't be lured in a sense of security. They are business men, they don't really "care" like we do.
Care to share with us these "crazy decisions" too?
Sacking Pearson? - Sound business decision
Sacking Barmby? - Nice bloke, not up to the job either on the field or off the field imo, glad to see him go, hardly a crazy decision.
Putting their own money in to save the club totally disappearing? - Yes ok you might have a point there...
They aren't heroes they are businessmen. Nicky is a hero. Without his contributions to the club we wouldn't have made it to the Premier League. His reward for 8 years service, the boot. Nothing he did justified being sacked. I support footballers and my team, not businessmen and their agendas.Yeah, you do know what the club did with the money don't you? They spent it on players who didn't get promotion and a manager who got us to eighth. As the players were the same as NP had, and as he had us in a promotion place, that looks like it was NB who failed.
And they haven't asked for the money back. So yeah, I'd say that in conjuction with their charitable donations etc. they are heroes. What did Nick do? The job he was very well paid to do. That's all. So why are you kissing his arse? Nice enough bloke and all that, but an indespensible part of Hull City? I think not.
They got the reaction they wanted from some of our fans too, i.e. none at all.Getting one of our players to stop playing to take over the management after eight years, then sacking him a few months later, with a letter(not even the ****ing decency to tell him in person), with some piss poor excuse about not linking what he said in a local radio interview. Not necessarily crazy, but definitely ****ish behaviour of the highest order.
I know it annoys some haters

What annoys me is you calling people haters all the time, there are few, if any, people on this board who hate the Allam's, just a reasonable proportion that think they've behaved poorly with regard to Nick Barmby. Calling them haters all the time just makes you look like a twelve year old.

Sorry OLm you appear to have lost all objectivity about Barmby.
Barmby is/was one of the most ruthless self centred players of the last 20 years, to think anyone can "get him to" do anything is ridiculous.
A letter is the right way to follow procedure for a dismissal.
He did an interview and bit the hand that fed him, result the sack.
But yet, you're not fussed about someone comparing them to drug lords. Interesting.
