for ****s sake!
get over it!
no legend is bigger than the club.
NB may be allowed to return in ten years or so when he has matured a bit.
but HCFC is where my loyalties lie!
managers/owners/players come and go... but the only constant is the team.

Was gonna say something similar - It seems absurd that half the people on here don't make their judgements on whats happened by whats in the public domain .
At no time in the process has Barmby been banned from speaking up , there is no legal reason why he wouldn't either.
The appeal wasn't about reinstatement it is about compensation and im not even certain Barmby had nothing more than a rolling contract and therefore probably only ever entitled to 1yr payout.
Ive been unable to find NBs contract length , i asked on here a while back but got no response .

Until i hear differently i wil accept the Allams side of this affair - i wont fall into the conspiracy trap -
Does everyone believe Barmby answer is "the silent truth"

No, I suspect the only ones who think differently, are those who speak to Nick.

Hey slow down ffs. Why should i or anyone else get over the craziest decison made by Hull City owners in years ?
The reason the Allams have given for this whole fiasco begger belief. Now if there is another truth then lets hear it but for now i am with Nick Barmby all the way.

and Yes Hull City is where my loyalties lie, Not with the owners.

but to everyone else thats still "he said she said" He can speak out , if he doesn't want to then why should we entertain whats not even his version of events - but accept speculation .
Im not burying my head in any sand bucket -
Im not saying i dont believe Barmby version of events as there isn't one !!
Also from your point that must be a lot of people Nick has spoken to .

Just sayin :/

I appreciate that most don't get information first hand and therefore find it easier to go with the one side of the story they've actually heard. I still assume that in due course, the other side of the story will also be told and people will then be in a better position to make their own minds up(I still suspect Nick won't prejudice his case, so he's likely to say nothing until either court action has taken place, or he decides not to take any court action. The same applies to AP).

Why is it the craziest? We were worse under Nick than we were the previous manager - simple as. I've said all along if you look at it purely in those terms it makes sense to me.

The problem is that, that's not what he was sacked for. Which is what I think is crazy & what FT is referring to.

I know it's over now(other than the legalities of the whole thing), but this remains a crock of **** and a piss poor way to treat someone who's done so much for the club, in my humble opinion.

Yeah I agree OLM, you'd think someone like Nick, born in the City, and supposed to be a fan of the club would show more respect for the people who put their money in and literally saved the club when noone else would, and are now trying to make sure the club has a long term future.

<whistle>

Its a ****ing joke what they did to Nicky in my book and well done to the Allams for using today to announce the news. Lets hope these people don't ask for their money back soon, real heroes aren't they giving us a loan which they can take back the next time the toys come out of the pram

Whether people think the Allams are right or wrong, it's them that appointed Nicky and them that sacked him. Maybe they know what they are doing but people are entitled to ask questions.

If you are planning on just "getting over" what's happened to Barmby and get on with it and forget then your allegiances don't lie with the club but with the Allams. That's exactly what they're hoping fans will do, "forget"... a real shame. What's done is done but it doesn't make it OK or RIGHT. We are forced to move on but it doesn't mean we can't have sympathy towards Nick or express our views that he has been harshly treated.
As I've said before it's not so much what has happened but HOW it has happened. If we forget and forgive so quickly then the Allams will keep on doing whatever they want without thinking of us or the club.

I agree that we should be supporting everyone involved in the club, although not specifically Barmby or the Allams, Managers, Owners and players come and go but we're always going to be Hull City, we can't let the Barmby thing linger in our minds to much though, just need to get ready for the new season!

I am not anti-allam but please for the love of god keep an eye half open on what they're up to. I don't dislike them but I'm sick of hearing "they saved us"... What happened to Nicky should show clearly that they can just as well bury us at any given time for some silly reason... DOn't be lured in a sense of security. They are business men, they don't really "care" like we do.
