i think this one is all down to bale really. if he puts in his transfer request he will be on his way, i dont think levy would accept the offer otherwise

as above.....he's gonna leave eventually. and this is probably the best offer they'll get. those two and a war chest to bring some proper strikers in is a no brainer to me.

If they did this deal and brought in 2 strikers and a defender, I'm having a tenner on them challenging the title this season. I reckon with all the changes, its pretty wide open this season and I will put Arsenal into that category of tenner bet if they get Dracula in from the bin dippers.

Wenger is no mug and now the most experienced EPL manager in the top 5/6 clubs and I think arsenal have a top class side when they are fit, so add a cutting edge like Goofy and they could be title contenders too.

If I was them I'd be selling for that. They can have a world class left side of the team ready made. Soldado thrown in with the transfer fee and their wages paid for for a couple of years by losing one world class player.

I think it would be foolish to say no as they will never get a better offer.

They get 2 good players and 51mil for 1 player, granted Bale is very good and will be a big loss for Spurs but I'd take that all day long. There is the selling their best player bit which may not go down well with the Spurs fans but, when Bale was out last season they did okay without him so for me not indispensable.
If he does go anywhere it'll be over seas as I can't see Levy selling to a PL competitor unless it is really stupid money.

WOULD YOU RATE HIM AS ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS YOU HAVE EVER SEEN , no chance on that one , not even the best spurs have had ,take the dosh , because if any one player is the be all and end all of any team its time to end it all, lets hope a broken leg or worse does not happen , for heavens sake the world has gone mad.

Nope! If ronaldo cost £80m then bale is not in the sane league, what an outstanding season though

Don't forget that they are looking for a new stadium

I think the £51m will be put into that

This will be first and foremost in Levy's mind IMO

Harringay is actually one of the cheaper post codes in London mate. You'd get at least a four bed detached for that.

No brainer for me. Di Maria is a better player than Bale too in my opinion and Coentrao is a step up from BAE and Rose. If this happens along with Soldado, Spurs are a good bet for a title push

Spurs' team is quite average Bale aside. So provided they reinvest the money they get fully and smartly to improve the general quality of the team I'd definitely take that.

If they don't have an idea of what they'd do with the money I wouldn't bother

They would have the best midfield in the world (again) with Ronaldo and Bale in the middle, they could play 4-2-4 !, even Danny graham would score in that team!. We have Lionel Sessi and hope we hang onto him.
