Ayew = Selfish?

I propose
Fab
Ash Ash Ash Ash
Leon Leon
Barrow Siggy Siggy Routledge
Ayew

And a bench full of Monteros

Wonder where we would finish in the league with that. The beauty of this system is that Siggy will always know where he is so wouldn't get in his own way.

I read that as Morons <laugh><doh>

Selling Ayew now would be a crazy decision. He's the only player that can be relied upon to score goals, more than less. I'd rather have him on the pitch than trust the board to spend his transfer money wisely enough. Something they haven't done with Bony or Shelveys money as of yet.

Anyone with eyes could have seen mid December that we were crying out for a striker and there should have been someone brought in in the first week to be ready for the Sunderland and Watford games. Why would anyone trust them to spend the Ayew money in the next 4 days when they haven't spent a bean in the last 27?
Absolute nonsense to suggest we should sell him. Can't understand anyone that watches the team regularly saying that.

All this season is about now is getting enough points to secure our premier league status if this means that Ayew scores and is selfish then so be it. Isn't that a trait that you want from a striker. I feel that we have enough to get the points required with the players we have we just need to hope for no injuries if we don't bring anyone in. Much happier with our transfer window than say the toons 28 mill for 3 midfielders lovely

Yes you can expect a little selfishness from Ayew, it was Siggy I was more (only slightly) disappointed with. His possible ball to an unmarked Ki was easier than Ayew's as well.

I'm really liking Ayew, I have to say. Monk persisted with him "unbalancing" the team but did nothing to remedy it. Curt and Guido are using him effectively.

Absolutely. He's a 100 per center.
****s out of nothing. Competes where he has no right to expect to win the ball. Chases lost causes, forces errors. Wins way too many headers for his size. He's a strong bastard.
A Jack bastard :)

Add that to his skill and his goals and what's not to like?

It has been so refreshing to have coaches mixing up the tactics and selections these past 6 weeks.
Long may it continue.
