No Danny Graham didn't, he had 12 in the whole season, Ayews return is the same as Bony. So you believe that anyone can score goals as long as they try, so why don't we just get a someone from York city as it would save us an awful lot of money, So we don't need Messi, Ronaldo, Aguerro as any one can do it if they try, **** mine I am off to play foe Barcelona next week because I promise to try so I must score goals.

A for Ayew I believe he has been pretty consistent for us all season and with out him we would be in deep deep **** and to even suggest or consider selling him would be the mot ridiculous thing our club could ever do.

You are right we don't have a working striker, so why sell the only person who is getting goals, what you actually do is get rid of the **** and replace them with better, Not get rid of the good players and keep the ****, that way we may get a few more goals.

Swans denying they have received a second bid for Ayew but it would be madness to sell him at this point. As for Borini, he would not be an upgrade in my opinion because I think he was good for us in the championship which is probably his level. Only half the PL player that Ayew is.

Graham scored 10 Premier League goals by Feb 4 , that give Ayew 1 game to score 2 goals to draw even .
When Siggy came in the January window on loan he started scoring like crazy and Graham's goals dried up .
When a window shuts , a door opens ....when someone isn't there to score , someone else does .
I'd rather see a striker scoring goals and Ayew scoring from his normal position

So if Ayew goes then someone else will is that your logic, what happens if they don't, why risk getting rid of someone who is scoring for the chance that someone else might. there is no logic there.

I don't really want to get rid of Ayew , I certainly don't want to get rid of him without a striker in place .My theory is if we sold Ayew for an equal value striker , we would be better off ...it's all I was ever really getting at .Hope I'm not putting a burr in your saddle with this debate lefty , It's not my intention . If we lost Ayew , it wouldn't be the end of the world ...we have options as is ....it wouldn't be easy but it would be doable imo

Not really , just going through the If's like everyone else . I want players playing from their normal position , But if we don't get the striker position solved , Ayew must stay in that position .
Better get ironed out in the summer if we stay up though .

But wouldn't we be better getting rid of some dross and spending the Shelvey money on a striker who can score goals then we would have 2 people who could score instead of one, surely that is more logical.

"Anyone up front is going to score goals , if they are actually trying" That statement is just so wrong all over.

Also, although "we sell to survive" is true to an extent, in the current instance I believe that selling our best player when we are in the **** will have the opposite effect just puts us deeper in said ****. You'll find it hard to find anyone here who will say otherwise.

    "18 Million for Ayew? SOLD!"

Looks like you were advocating selling to me - and to a relegation rival too.

Already explained I was speaking for what I think the board would do Aussie , how many times must you hear to actually hear .Danny Graham , 10 goals by Feb 4 ...if he can , most can with proper support from players playing their proper positions .
I've also said I would prefer to sell Ayew to a non relegation team if we sell him , like I said about Shelvey but you refuse to hear that also

If we got the right players in place I would have sold Gomis , Shelvey and Ayew .It's a business .
As it stands , what good is Gomis ,.
Shelveys gone and we're doing great with money in the bank .
We didn't get anyone in to neutralize Ayew going so we keep him .
You belly ached about getting rid of Shelvey as one of our "Best " players but we are and will do fine without him Aussie

You do use unfortunate - and very irritating - words. Who was "belly-aching" about Shelvey? I was sad to see a decent player go who won us a ****load of points last season but acknowledged that we have other players who can step in, and the guy didn't want to play for us. Ayew is a different ball game. Getting a new player in and expect him to hit the ground running so that he helps us out of the mire is cloud cuckoo land, or wishful thinking at best.

"...we're doing great with money in the bank" is not what the fans are thinking here in Swansea I can tell you. Premiership survival is what they are thinking about and how we achieve that.

Oh, and you must really get your head around the idea that for the fans Swansea City FC is much more than a business.

He is not good enough for us.

I don't care what position they are, as long we score.

Having two Ki`s in the team is not, I think, going to improve our scoring rate. Much better to have two Ayew`s or two Siggy`s.

Lucky it was only a typo by you, only joking <laugh>

Would have to agree though , if you are going to make a mistake you might as well make the right one and go with 2 Ayew's ...lol
