Agree, surely you would choose Evans to play mid over Chester. I think Chester even once said on a radio interview he wasn't a fan of playing midfield.

In my opinion I'd start Ayala as back-up and just let Hobbs and Chester know that if they don't perform then there's a guy behind them in the pecking order at the moment who will.

Solid but good on the counter attack.

Thank **** for that....a sensible move....the guy runs all day and with him on the left and Brady on the right we'll be putting the chances on a plate for Fryatt and Simpson againt the white ****e.

I'd prefer Ayala. A better central defender in my opinion. Probably to partner Hobbs. Would be one of the best pairings in the division. Chester as competition, and as cover for a number of other positions.

Heard the club started negotiations with Ayala yesterday morning.

Judging it over the 90 minutes last night, there was no doubt Chester had the better game. So if pushed to change my mind based on 1 match, then Ayala would replace Hobbs. I still stand by my original belief that Ayala is better than both.

If Ayala & Pusic are signed next week then it's a plus cos it isn't the same waking up with a hangover and remembering City had lost.. I always find you recover faster if City have won.. anyway I might be bringing in a new lodger, young blond French bird.. she'd get in anybody's back-four.. Worth a try but this is the problem with injuries - you really have to have cover.
