Wow I didn't know that, I assumed we were making a lot from it, clearly not, it makes agreeing to the deal seem even worse!

Agreed. You shall never please everyone with the same kit. I have bought them all yet have never worn some of them in public.. Yes i am a shirt junkie but some shirts are just so dire they should never be seen in public. imo

The Coventry look-a-like (our 3rd strip for this season) is the latest of the banned strips i heve.

If the club want to sell masses of shirts then they need to give the fans a pre-view and a selection of say 3 styles. Let the fans vote which one they like best. Amazed that they dont do something like this. Shirt sale income must be the poorest for a while.

Thanks for the info OLM I dislike CC even more now. I know there are a lot of crap sponsors about but none have the negative cheap image of Cash Converters, great away kit but not for me with them on it.

As Duffen left in 2009 and we signed this deal two years later, I hardly think we can pin this one on Duffen, it was Mark Maguire.

I'm the same, there's a fair few of my shirts that still have the labels on but I can't miss buying one for the sake of the collection!

It was worth a try. ;) I Did not think it was Adams by the way but a little surprised it was Mark Maguire. No wonder then that the Allams want the PL so fast. <whistle> But 3 full years plus a return to the PL = One million quid ? <yikes>

Correct Indeed. I love going round to the in/outlaws for Xmas in my Twydale Turkeys shirt. I found a reason / occasion to wear that one. Lol. Must admit its not as loose as it used to be around the waist. XL size by the way.

Time for a green kit again? "we all follow a black and amber team (that sometimes plays in green)"?

I love it but hate the sponsor, haven't read the rest of the thread but I'm going to get it at some point!

I like both this seasons kits, but the designers always seem to either add or leave one bit that bugs me.

The home shirt is a bit annoying that the black suddenly stops at the arms instead of continuing all the way around.

and the away kit.... I like it, but the amber panels would be so much better if they either wasn't there, or was just a simple under-arm broad amber stripe.... the amber panel that is on the new away shirt, what exactly is it? it's not even a shape, it's like a random amber blob.... will have to see it in the flesh though, as you can't see from the picture how the 'blob' ends, to tell what shape it is.

I like it. Would be better without the amber under the arms but it's pretty much the shirt I've wanted us to have since I saw Real Madrid had a similar one. My Centenary home kit needs replacing now as well (sponsor lettering falling apart) but thanks to our current sponsor being what it is I'll just replace it with the old Patrick training kit that looked very similar instead.

Agree with this, except that I liked the 07/08 Umbro white one and that would probably take first place with the graphite one dropping out. To be honest, I think this season's kits are the best combination we've had for a while, probably since 07/08.

I hate that white one, I prefer the blue ones from our last premier league season and last season

****ing hell Erik, could you find a more faded picture of that 'charcoal' top? That white one was a nice design but was let down a bit for me by the amber stripes being a different colour to the amber trim. Would have been alright if they never met but they did.

EDIT: I've just thought, we've got adidas to give us amber stripes and logos, why couldn't they make the sponsors logo amber as well just to complete the effect?
