Radiohead, one album wonder and garbage.
Think you mentioned Coldplay and I really hate Coldplay.
Chemical brothers were in there, 2 album's and that was it.

**** me - that's a hand grenade if ever I saw one. I don't like Radiohead particularly but calling them overrated is hugely unfair. Mind, I say the same about Led Zep and others just to sit back and watch <laugh>

I kind of respects bands who build a cult following rather than teeny boppers or executives who want something to listen to on the drive to work (cough Dire Straits Simply Red Chris Rea cough).
I do struggle to see the popularity of Coldplay but it's taste again. I fully appreciate that many would look at my collection and leave my house never to be seen again. Females usually but that may also have something to do with the dungeon <devil>

It is ironic as I think they've only released one good one (their first) which was the point of the conversation.

A band who've released six albums becomes a two album wonder because you think one of them was good = ironic.

Giving it a listen now, I'm two songs in its not a great start. Just listened to a decent song Tranquility Base hotel I think, but it's not one I'd ever sing along to

There's no sing along tracks. The Ultracheese my fav. A bit indulgent of them but **** it, I love it when bands go in a different direction.
