Oooffffttttt I kind of respects bands who build a cult following rather than teeny boppers or executives who want something to listen to on the drive to work (cough Dire Straits Simply Red Chris Rea cough). I do struggle to see the popularity of Coldplay but it's taste again. I fully appreciate that many would look at my collection and leave my house never to be seen again. Not true. The Bends was their second album to start with and they released five great albums before it started getting a bit ****. Portishead's third album is a blinder!

There's no sing along tracks. The Ultracheese my fav. A bit indulgent of them but **** it, I love it when bands go in a different direction.
