It was £1.5m and as far as I'm aware, we never put a value on him, we just said he wasn't for sale.
It was the right decision for us at the time and even with benefit of hindsight, I still think it was the right decision.
One way or another, he'll be gone next season and if he ever remembers how good he is, someone will have picked themselves up a bargain.
